What ENGLISH FOR TOURISM?




An intensive course tailor-made for young people wishing to be a hotel receptionist, waiter/waitress, bartender, tour guide/travel agent, or even a hotelier!

The course will include a wide range of core subjects needed for English competent speakers as well as professionals in hospitality:

- Phonetics and Phonology
- Sematics
- Grammar in use
- British and American Literature
- The UK and US Cultures
- Communicative Language Skills (Speaking, Listening, Writing and Reading)
- Interpreting and Translation Skills
- Business Letters
- Specific Professional Skills (Hotel Management, Food and Beverage Services, Travel Operations or Tour Guiding)

All subjects are conducted in English as the main medium of communication.

Final examinations include: written assignment and English assessment of language skills/English for Tourism
